I am assuming the F310 would be the same way since all of these Logitech controllers have the XInput and DirectInput modes built into one gamepad. I have a feeling that's what I'll use in the future since that will be a lot simpler. I ordered a Cordless RumblePad 2 from a retailer that still had it in stock. It won't matter if you leave the F710 in "D" mode. Unfortunately, the default mode on the F710 is the XInput mode which doesn't work on the Mac. Unfortunately, if you shut your Mac down at night like I do, you'll have to go through the same steps to reattach the F710 to the Mac. If your game doesn't support HID Manager, then you'll need a program like Carvware's Gamepad Companion or USB Overdrive in order to map the buttons, hatswitch, or analog sticks to keystrokes. If your game uses HID Manager, then you won't need to do anything else in order for your gamepad to work. I haven’t had to do anything special to use RPCS3 with a 360 or Bone controller, and the F310 in Xinput mode should function identically. All this to say, has anyone else had the problem I described? Has anyone gotten a my gamepad or anyone in general to work in this game on Mac? Any suggestions to try or other gamepad mapping software to try? I also read that the gamepad must be in the "D" input on the back of the controller. I have read online that there are no drivers for the gamepad because it is supposed to natively work in Mac. I am forced to hold the power button and restart my mac to get out of the game.) (When the mouse stops working the game will also not shut down and force close does not work. To get the game to work again I have to manually go in and delete the com.ubisoft. The first thing that happens is the mouse no longer works in game once I have set up the software. I have downloaded GamePad Companion and have taken the time to map the gamepad controls in accordance with the standard keyboard layout. The gamepad itself is recognized in system info but not in the game. I have a gamepad that I am trying to use with Assassin's Creed II (Mac version) but am running into trouble.
